The year was 1969. I was in 9th grade. Each day I would stay after
school for basketball practice. We would sprint, run defense drills and play in
mock games. Our dream, to win the area champion. At age 14, that was my introduction to be part of what Warren Bennis calls a
"great group." Throughout my work life I've been drawn to Great Groups, whether
a think tank to reinvent third world development, a leadership alliance to
recreate the church, skunk works to mark the millennium, or now a global
leadership consortium to bend the curve of the 21st century. If you are looking for keys on how to organize genius, release servant
leadership and empower global teams, I encourage you to join me Friday and
Saturday, May 16-17th, at Regent University, for the 2008 Annual Roundtables
conference. Visit webpage. Early in my career I sought out teams where I could showcase my skills,
whether employing technology, organizing events, or launching new endeavors. Now
my passion is to orchestrate genius, encourage creativity, and release team
excellence, in order to lead sustainable enterprises. Friday morning will be devoted to plenary sessions by Dr. Mansour Javidan, one of the world's foremost scholars
on global leadership. Friday afternoon and Saturday will be devoted to
workshops in various tracks, including Servant Leadership, Human
Resource Development, Global Leadership and Biblical Perspectives in
Leadership. I encourage you to join me in Virginia Beach at Regent University this May.
