The World Future Society has just accepted my proposal to conduct a one-day pre-course, July 16th, in Chicago for their annual conference. The course focus: Modeling Global Futures: Frameworks and Tools. Dr. Tom Ferleman, of Booz, Allen and Hamilton will conduct this with me. We will demonstrate how global enterprises map trends, determine key forces, and develop analytical rigor behind their alternative scenarios. Regent University hosted the fourth annual futures conference for Christian leaders featuring Dr. Ted Peters, Dr. Clem Bezold and Jay Gary from Sept 20-22nd in Virginia Beach, VA. The focus was on the future of aging, bioethics and faith ministry. Sixty participants asked, How do we approach a Genetics Age, and lead from the future? Regent to Launch "Futures" Degree

Regent University launched a new Master's degree in strategic foresight the Fall of 2006. The online program now allows professionals to study the future in the context of organizational decision-making, while continuing to work full-time. Dr. Jay Gary will teach in the program, along with other nationally know futures educators. Offered by the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship, students will be able to finish the program in 18 to 36 months. Be part of this dynamic new program for Christian futurists. There are three application deadlines a year for this program.
