Olgy and I are celebrating this Christmas in our new home, in Virginia Beach, VA. We sold our Colorado home this past February and closed on a beautiful lake-side home in Va Beach on March 31st. Our new home is 2/3rds the size of our Colorado home but it's still open to receive any and all of you who can come by and visit us!

After we moved in, Olgy's sister, Maricel came to live us temporarily. Maricel is half way through her Masters in Organizational Leadership at Regent University, where I teach. Olgy and Maricel enjoy walking together. It is two miles around our lake, so often they walk four miles a day, weather permitting!

We now live within driving distance of both my family and Olgy's, making it feasible for us to get together on special occasions. Another plus is that I live less than a mile from my work at Regent University. I serve as an Assistant Professor to up to 100 students a year. This marks my fifth year of work with Regent. My teaching load covers the Master of Strategic Foresight program I designed for the University and also the Doctor of Strategic Leadership. I enjoy working with people from practically every sector: government, business, education, health, and military, helping them create the best future for their organizations.

Two bits of news about our kids: David had been two years out of the Army and was going to school and working in Colorado. Now he has been reactivated and reports to Fort Benning, GA, on January 2rd for an assignment to Afghanistan. Please keep him in your prayers as he  serves our country.

Christine lives in Boston and is making progress on a Masters degree in Nutrition. She is training to run a marathon this March in Antarctica. Yes, on the coldest place on earth, "running with the penguins" as she likes to joke! She is attempting this "impossibility" alongside another -- raising money for charity and fitness awareness. Please consider supporting her to reach her $5,800 fundraising goal. Your gift to the Antarctica Project is tax deductible as her project is part of an internship with ChildrenComeFirst.com, the 501(c)3 educational nonprofit corporation. Visit Christine's website at http://www.christinegary.com

Fortunately, tonight, on Noche Buena, we sit down as an extended amily to each comida Cubana, including macho, y con gri. May this Christmas season will be full of wonder, rest, and cheer for you and your loved ones. Please keep in touch with us.
